Biomechanics. Learning from Dr. Dapertutto Vsevolod Meyerhold intorduced under the pseudonim Dr. Dapertutto elements of comedy, dance, gymnastics and techniques from Asia his theatre methods, with the aim to offer the actors the possiblity to control conscious the mechanism of movement and the flux of energy. Afterwords he developed the so called biometric studies (biomechanical études), integrating them into his performances, enlarging thus the emotional possiblities of the theatre.
